FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything bands and solo players usually ask before they move in. Missing something? Ask us.

What is Bandayd?

Bandayd is an app for working musicians — bands, duos, solo artists and one-man bands: songs and chord charts, setlists, a gig calendar and member availability in one place, with a stage mode for playing live.

Is Bandayd only for bands?

No. Solo artists, singer-songwriters and one-man band performers use it too. Start as a band of one with your own songs, setlists, gigs and stage mode — pedal page turns and auto-scroll keep your hands free — and invite a duo partner or side player later if you need one. Members are always free.

How much does it cost?

You can start free. The Band plan is $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year for the whole band, and every member is free on every plan. See the pricing page for the details.

Does every member need to pay?

No. One plan covers the band; members are always free.

Does it work on Android?

Yes. Android, Windows and Mac members join free and use the full app in their browser — songs, charts, setlists, gigs, availability and stage mode — and can add it to their home screen. Band Sync and offline gig packs need the iPhone or iPad app.

Is there an iPhone and iPad app?

Yes — the Bandayd app for iPhone and iPad is coming soon to the App Store. It adds offline gig packs, Band Sync, chart scanning, AirDrop sharing and Siri.

Does it work with no signal?

In the iPhone and iPad app, yes: save the set to the device as a gig pack and stage mode runs with no connection at all. In a browser you need a connection to open the app.

What is Band Sync?

In the iPhone and iPad app, the band leader taps Lead and everyone else taps Follow. When the leader changes song or scrolls, every member’s chart follows — in their own key and view. The devices talk to each other directly, so it needs no Wi-Fi or internet.

Will my page-turner pedal work?

Most Bluetooth page-turner pedals work as a keyboard. Pair the pedal with the device you read from and keep it in arrow or page up/down mode.

Can I import my existing songs?

Yes. Import an OnSong library archive, ChordPro files, or paste any chord sheet or link and AI turns it into a clean chart. PDFs attach to the song as they are.

Can each member see the song differently?

Yes. Each member chooses chords, lyrics only, Nashville numbers or a roadmap, and can transpose or add a capo on their own screen without changing the song for anyone else.

Can I be in more than one band?

Yes. Switch between bands in one tap, and keep your own songs in My Songs.

How do I cancel?

In one tap — on the Billing page in the app if you bought on the web, or in your Apple subscriptions if you bought in the App Store. You keep the plan to the end of the period you paid for.

What happens to my songs if we stop paying?

They stay yours. Your library stays readable and exportable whatever happens to the plan.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: My Account → Settings → Privacy → Data Management → Delete My Account. The delete-account page explains exactly what happens.

Are there ads?

No. Never.
