Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 26, 2026
Bandayd is a service of PHM Enterprises LLC. References to either name in this policy refer to the same business.
1. Information We Collect
Bandayd collects information you provide directly, including:
- Account information (name, email address, mobile phone number, company details)
- Business data (customers, quotes, invoices, jobs)
- Usage data and analytics
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and improve the Bandayd service
- Communicate with you about your account
- Send one-time passcodes (OTP) and verification codes via SMS for account authentication and password reset, when you choose SMS delivery
- Comply with legal obligations
- Enhance security and prevent fraud
3. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
4. Phone Numbers and SMS Messaging
If you provide a mobile phone number and consent to SMS, it is used solely to deliver the transactional messages you agreed to: one-time passcodes (OTP), login verification codes and password-reset codes for account authentication; and, if you are a customer of a business that uses Bandayd and you agreed to text updates from that business, service notifications about work you requested — quote links, invoice and payment links, account statements, and appointment confirmations or cancellations. Each names the business it is from and is sent via Bandayd. We do not use your phone number for marketing or promotional messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with our SMS delivery provider (currently Twilio) strictly to transmit the messages you have agreed to receive. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
Message frequency varies with your activity: passcodes are sent only when you sign in or reset your password, and service notifications only when there is news about work you requested. A typical recipient receives 0–6 messages per month.
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send, or by removing your phone number from your account. Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact support@bandayd.com. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to use Bandayd, but may require you to use email-based authentication instead.
Full disclosure of the SMS Messaging Program is available at SMS Consent & Messaging Program.
5. Third-Party Integrations
Bandayd integrates with third-party services (QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, Google, Apple iCloud, OpenPhone, Twilio for SMS, SendGrid for email). Your data is shared with these services only as needed to provide functionality you have requested, and in accordance with their respective privacy policies. We do not share your data with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
6. Google User Data
If you choose to connect a Google account, Bandayd asks for access to the following, and uses it only for the purposes listed:
- Basic profile (name, email address): to identify which Google account you connected.
- Google Calendar (read your calendar list and events; create, update and delete events): to show your Google Calendar alongside your Bandayd schedule, and to keep appointments and jobs you schedule in Bandayd in sync with your Google Calendar.
- Google Contacts (read-only): to let you import people from your Google Contacts into Bandayd. You choose which contacts to import; only the ones you select are saved.
How it is stored. Access tokens are encrypted and stored on our servers so the connection keeps working. Calendar events and the contacts you import are saved in your Bandayd account as your business records.
Sharing. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not share it with anyone except as needed to provide the features above, to comply with the law, or with your consent. Google user data is not used for advertising, is not used to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, and is not read by people except with your permission, for security purposes, or as required by law.
Removing access. You can disconnect Google at any time from your integration settings in Bandayd, or revoke access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have imported contacts or synced events deleted, delete them in Bandayd or contact us at support@bandayd.com.
Bandayd's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. SMS opt-in records are retained for the duration of your account plus a reasonable period thereafter to demonstrate compliance with telecommunications regulations.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, including your phone number and SMS preferences. Contact us at support@bandayd.com to exercise these rights.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of Bandayd constitutes acceptance of changes. Material changes affecting SMS messaging will be communicated to you in advance.
